Hiya, my name is Tavia, I am an artist living deep in the inspiring forests of Nova Scotia with my partners. I’m experienced in many types of art mediums, but focus on custom wood pyrography and illustration. I grew up in a home where creation was celebrated, since I could hold a tool I have been making art.
Almost everything about art is enticing to me, the time, research, practice, end result, and the experience of finding excitement and beauty in everything around me. I hope to impart that excitement and story in my pieces

Hi! I’m Ben, I’ve managed and supported Studio Tavia from the beginning, helping with design and product decisions for the Studio, but also encouraging Tavia herself.
My whole life I’ve analyzed the benefits and limitations of the things around me and thought about what I would do to improve on them.
While a designer at heart I also enjoy woodworking, including wooden geared clocks, I like mixing the precision and geometry of the gears with the natural aesthetic and organic shapes wood can provide.
